i feel an acute sense of loss and loneliness.
i should never have allowed this to happen.
now my mp3 is in the hands of another.
(for one day. and one day only.)
(but still. its 24 hours of separation!)
i will never let my baby leave me again.
(unless, of course, i get a new one.)
anyway! i have come to realize that my blog is pretty dead.
even though life is more interesting now what with there being NO SCHOOL (let me repeat: NO SCHOOL!) for like the first time in 12 years i am STILL not blogging because, well, now i just cant be bothered to.
there are more fun things to do.
but now i DO have something important to talk about!
that being the xen SALSA COMPETITION!!!
well to be honest its just a xen in-house thing so its not really big or anything, but still.
im partnering dionne since there is a severe lack of guys in xen (so severe that many of them end up partnering 2 girls) which suits the both of us anyway, because then we can put all the hiphop and jazz we want into the choreo without worrying about glum faces.
but then again that resulted in us being way too liberal with the shines and having too much of everything BUT salsa in the choreo.
kind of funny, for a salsa competition.
oh well. its sort of more interesting, at any rate.
a bit violent, a bit too short, very tiring, but interesting.
we had to be more creative because having 2 girls/guys dance salsa will no doubt look a bit weird (neither of us want to cross-dress) so we implemented a STORYLINE!
which is basically just both of us fighting for the same guy.
not very original, but at least a cat fight choreo would somewhat account for the violence.
