annoying squared

i realize that, after today, everyone in the whole world has seen me and dionne's choreo for the competition already.

every time we practice (full out) a small crowd discreetly gathers at some corner of the studio, made up of instructors/other competitors/the kaypoh.

the good thing about that is that the instructors like yanqing/tamil/brenda give us constructive criticism which we really really need.

unfortunately that also means that, with the other competitors knowing exactly what they're up against, our cards are all on the table and we have scarcely seen anybody else's yet (done really full-out, anyway.)

and that is baaaaad because there are only 2 ways it can go from there:

1) 'crap now we've really got to up our game.'
2) 'phooey that was rubbish we'd beat that for sure.'

neither of which is good for us.

why are we the only ones facing this predicament?!

xen is so small (well not SMALL but we need a big space) and there are so few places you can practice decently (with music, mirrors, space and light) without getting chased away that i really dont understand why it is we have yet to see other people's choreos.

sure, we see couples practicing in nooks and crannies like the reception area, the smaller studios or outside the toilet, but they dont seem to be doing it full-out so we dont see the choreo clearly.

(which would be hard to, anyway, without abovementioned music mirrors space and light.)

how are they doing it?!??!!?!

where are they hidinggggggg.

is there some hidden studio that we dont know about???

sigh.

and SATS are on saturday. MORNING.

this thing is on friday. NIGHT.

sucks.
