yet another boring update

yet another horrid hectic busy week has passed.
in which a couple of stupid things have happened, like climbing over the school gate to go interview the top A level scorers in aj.
not that im totally alien to the concept of school-gate-climbing, having done it a couple of times back in nan hua, but aj's gate is surprisingly a lot more difficult to scale.
especially right in front of nyp, an mrt station, a road, a bus stop, and 2 very amused cleaners.
wearing a rather restrictive school skirt at quite an inappropriate above-the-knee length, without shorts underneath it.
me, minjie and rachel contemplated the gate for a while, but what could 3 extremely-late wannabe reporters who were supposed to interview the top scorers of aj directly after they got their results - which would happen in approximately 5 minutes - do?
minjie went first, but failed at the first attempt (rather unglamly) and so we walked 1/3 the distance to the main entrance before deciding that it was just too long, too hot and too late.
but rachel refused to climb (probably because she had witnessed said first unglam attempt) so she walked whilst minjie and i doubled back.
im pretty much game for anything involving climbing, having scaled a gazillion things from exercise bars to poles to the top of the stand the swinging ropes in nan hua were hanging from (simply to spite the teachers who had tossed them up there to stop us from swinging on it in the first place) so i thought, well, just another easy school gate.
the chafed arms and sooty hands i got were sufficient evidence that i was sorely proven wrong.
but ha-ha it was the only interesting point of my tiring, exhausting and otherwise incredibly boring school week.
next week, however, will be a completely different issue.
not only is it the LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL before the march hols, i also have a gazillion events coming up.
