SCO performance!
pictures speak louder than words (esp unglam ones) so here are a few of the stomp ppl in their insane makeup!
someone commented that the makeup was just vandalism of the face.
i havent got any pictures of the actual performance (being behind the wings with my phone stuck in the dressing room because it was tut-tutted at) so i shall just grab some photos of the rehearsals from facebook.
was so relieved that i wasnt in stomp.
of course, that was before the hairstylist slicked my hair entirely off my face and streaked it with gold.
and when the make up artist was done with me...
i was still relieved that i wasnt in stomp.
hooha.
free of face vandalism.
the performance itself was pretty ok. in fact it was very fun because it was a large-scale performance but unlike the xenbar performances, i felt no pressure and virtually no nerves.
the performances didnt take up any energy, the audience was made up of ppl i had known my whole life and i didnt feel the need to force myself to smile (except for the last item where i just beamed for no reason for 2 seconds).
so it was easy, breezy, all the way.

it is SO COOL if i do say so myself. though the jazz and salsa parts sucked.
one of the first moves, for those of you who know, was taken from derrick (not the bodywave part lah duh). so whoever sent me that video of the dance practice which included him freestyling for about 10 seconds thank you very much for it.
oh here is the group hip hop. but my arms were limp, bleh.
i would be the one and only with curly hair who run out for the second song next to the girl who spins a million times which would be dionne.
