sole purpose

the golden compass is a confusing movie.

i do not get the concept of a daemon.

must be strange to have your soul trot beside you as your furry counterpart, acting as your conscience and tut-tutting when you pry.

anyway i watched said golden compass with junhui and zhuqing at the cathay.

as always, junhui was LATE, zhuqing was early and i was punctual.

oooh and junhui now sports a pob! that is highlighted, what's more.

seems everyone around me is coloring their hair someway or another.

i shall soon be the only person left with black hair.

how very unfair.

anyway after the movie i killed a long boring 2 hours (by dragging zhuqing halfway across singapore and back hahaha) then attempted to make my way to church in a leisurely, relaxed fashion by taking a straight bus there which promised a long, eventless ride.

my long, eventless bus ride turned out to be more tense and anxiety-filled than...well whatever is very tense and anxiety-filled.

it was dark, the bus windows were fogged up and i realized - too late - that i wasnt sure which stop to get off at.

so i spent the entire 45 minutes white-knuckling the seat, peering out the window at the fuzzy landscape and peppering whoever was unlucky enough to sit next to me with questions about which stop we were at.

miraculously i managed to get to church only half an hour late.

church rally rehearsals were...loud.

the stomp ppl were banging on, er, milo tins and whatnot at the back, the choir ppl were singing AND the background music was playing (none of which matched hahahah).

dora chose that moment to call me.

regarding grey's anatomy season 2, of all things.

oh i CAN actually pass it to you tomorrow, on second thought! if you had answered your phone just now instead of choosing to continue your beauty sleep i could have told you that, ha.

i was actually going to blog something else but then i went to the toilet and my idea was flushed down together with the unmentionables.

so i shall end this entry here, tata.
