whee what a hectic few days ive had. i shall start from friday.

on friday, after deciding and re-deciding for a million times, i went to the movies with yz and then to xenbar. the reason for all that deciding was because neither tan min nor dionne were going, which cuts the fun into half.

well as expected it wasnt NEARLY as fun but still okay. the intermediate lesson was so tough that even yz couldnt follow completely, a rare treat considering she's been going for about 6 months already.

then on saturday i had to leave the house at 6.45 in the MORNING after my late friday night for the stupid president's challenge cip thing that i was forced to go to.

we went to jurong lake park where dozens of other schools were gathered and thankfully was one of the schools assigned to kayak. the other schools did lame stuff like stand in a line and cheer at the president, pah.

unfortunately we didnt know that we could not choose our kayaking partners and were supposed to pair up with some older, more professional people. there was quite a scramble during the choosing of partners but yz and i, being super tired (in my case) and therefore rather cranky, just stood at the side and waited. in the end this 30-something guy asked us why we were not choosing partners and we said that we would prefer stick together, which sparked off a talk about the reasons we should choose an expert to go with us. we pretended to listen whilst zoning out, but thankfully he was some use and partnered me and found a 20-something guy for yz (who turned out to be quite chatty and weird).

we finally got into the kayaks after eons of standing around, and straight after that had to form a raft (many kayaks in a row). fortunately and unfortunately my kayak was next to yz, so i could talk to her but had to endure having my name being made fun of by her and her partner. i also was conned into holding a disgusting water snail by her partner, sheesh.

we broke and formed rafts a million times without picking up any rubbish, what we set out to do in the beginning. in the end we only had FIFTEEN MINUTES to go off by ourselves to get the trash after about 45 minutes of just drifting around breaking and forming rafts.

on the way back we spotted a turtle whose leg was tangled in some wire and bleeding, and there was quite a commotion around it. in the end after much discussion the wire was cut and the turtle was freed.

yz's partner gave us a final gift of a water snail each which we discreetly dropped back to the ground. there was no way i was going to wait for the disgusting slime curled inside the shell to uncurl and ooze onto my palm.

after that yz went home to shower and change whilst i went to plaza sing with tan min. we walked along for ages before she finally decided to pick 2 tops from hang ten, and we went to xenbar at the earliest time ive been there yet.

hip hop was really fun and dionne actually got to lead the first time, haha. after that yanqing said she wanted to take a video of all of us so she could remember her routine. she switched on these really bright spotlights and recorded the 3 of us and herself, and the result was actually rather nice, despite tan min saying she forgot the steps once or twice, ha.

then dionne started showed us her ballet steps, which REALLY REALLY resembled the waiting on tables at very fancy restaurants.

bleach taught basic and intermediate this week instead of stone, and the instructions (including nancy's) were much more detailed and precise. i could actually follow the intermediate class before i got tired and dizzy, though once again my HAIR got in the way. i am so tying it up next week.

for today, we completely skipped bible study and reached church at about 10. dora was constantly teased about the wimpy thing, haha, claimed that it didnt annoy her and yet elbowed and smacked everyone who talked about it.

after church we went to peace centre and played bishi bashi AGAIN and this time, managed to complete the whole game! or rather, I did, haha.

then we were supposed to go and watch the devil wears prada at marina square but she backed out in the end because her mother didnt want her to go there due to the fact that people fight there? what a lame excuse.

well ta.
