i think i just had my first arthritic experience.
at age 18.
ow.
i suppose cracking my knuckles so much isnt in fact such a good idea after all.
anyway.
it took me a long time to realize this (in fact i wouldnt even have realized it had it not been for the light shed by a certain event) but michael jackson's dancing is actually really really cool!
in this video, anyway.
i saw a few others but some were ruined by his strange costumes.
this i think was the most normal (in terms of costume and face).
and coolest.
so maybe he really was the king of pop (and lock).
oddly enough the way he dances reminds me of yanqing's shine.
like FAST sloooooooow, SHARP sooooooooft.
the moonwalks, the spectacular spinning.
even the costume to a certain extent.
and the way they do all these insane things with the 'oh, no sweat' look on their faces.
having tried yanqing's shine myself in her class i realized how very very misleading that look is.
which you wouldnt understand, of course, unless you click on the video (since im sure you've done nothing but read the text so far).
so do it.
