vampire red isnt such a bad color, after all. in fact, it WOULD be really nice if applied liberally and skillfully.
and no im talking about lipstick. eew bloody red lips, gross.
anyway today was a really boring, lazy day, from 8 all the way to 2.30, that is. the lessons were explicitly boring and i slept through chem AND physics, 2 subjects that im starting to hate more and more because they're so BORING.
for english we did oral again, and STILL DID NOT GET OUR PAPERS BACK. SOMEONE has been slacking off and not marking our papers, i see.
things took a drastic turn for the worst after 2.30, because yz, junhui and i had to go for the dumb bukit timah hill hike (tan min and amanda also went along voluntarily with st john, though why anyone would do so is beyond the scope of my imagination). yz and i had to brave the staff toilet and change in there after accidentally walking to 2 boys' toilets and 1 filled-up-to-the-brim girls' toilet, how annoying.
when we got to bukit timah hill we had a lame briefing by the gorilla, who was saying things like'you should have had a good lunch, brought water and raincoats, and a small bag to store them in!' which was a bit LATE considering we were at the foot of the hill already. sheesh.
the hike itself was terrible. they led us along the longest track possible, through the disgusting humid rainforest, where things rotted under your shoes and roots trailed about sneakily trying to trip you up. as if that wasnt bad enough, they added millions of STEPS that brought us right back down after a long, strenuous climb up. you have to wonder WHAT all that climbing was for.
well thankfully all bad things come to an end and we were once again back at the foot of the hill, where we spotted some weird whiskered monkeys holding on to tiny, rather wrinkled looking baby monkeys. quite cute, really.
the next few days are going to be quite hectic. tmr we're getting back our english paper and we've got to stay back for some chinese presentation, the day after we're either going ice skating or bowling, on friday im watching a movie with yz and then going to xenbar, saturday will be completely filled because of a dumb cip project and xenbar again. then it'd b the holidays, which will of course be filled with endless remedials and school activies.
