today was the first day of prelims.
yesterday i let my kiasu side out and packed 2 calculators in case one of them bombed.
only when i had stepped into the hall did i remember that this is e math paper 1 and no calculators were allowed.
my correction tape ran out in the middle of the exam and i eagerly pulled out my spare (yes another aspect of my kiasuness) just to have it run out too.
jeez.
so anyway we had our exam in the hall which i thought was quite fun at first, what with the long rows of tables and chairs and all. i was actually hoping the invigilators would form some sort of formation as they walked down the aisles together (that sounds somewhat strange, them walking down the aisle together), maybe making some interesting flare or shape or something like a mass dance but alas that was not to be the case.
they just wandered around in no particular pattern. what a waste of a potential mass dance setup.
i also envisioned there to be a giant clock on the stage like in the harry potter movie where there was this gargantuous pendulum thing swinging in front of the students whilst they had their O.W.Ls.
but ours was just a skimpy little clock which couldnt swing and just stuck on to the wall reflecting light into my eyes so i couldnt even read the hands.
what a disappointment.
well taa i have to go prepare for the next papers.
