today was just another church day.
whilst the carolling ppl were singing the others, yours truly included, were having bible study, where we had to pretend to argue with someone else over a random chosen topic. my bicker partner was weiyee and of course she won, after just like 10 seconds, blah. the most interesting pair was weisi and yongxiang who had to pretend to b a couple breaking up, and after about 2 minutes of very channel-8-drama-like dialogue yongxiang gave up, ha, but it was good entertainment.
during the normal service the carolling ppl returned and i saw the infamous charlie (without his chocolate factory) dressed like he was going to the beach, which dora says is normal. after a brief moment of sniggering we finally decided on 'po' as his nickname. the reasoning behind it is strictly confidential, haha.
the sermon was done by nan shen, but dora and i were too busy rehashing what she saw on tv about him to listen. apparently he's some ex-boyband leader and used to wear a big wig and wiggle his butt for the camera, which totally cracked us up. isnt this considered inappropriate behaviour for a pastor? hahaha.
then another snigger session during the collecting of donations, when gen shun was singing the collecting-of-donations-song. words cannot describe this one, you have to hear it understand the sheer funniness of it.
after the service we hung around on the ground floor of the church with the wei-chan clan, where we were further entertained by weien, who was wearing his carolling shirt neatly tucked in and the buttons done up almost to the top, when everyone else had untucked their shirt and loosened the collar.
dora: why dont u take out the second button of your shirt?
weien: dont want, i'd b too sexy.
me and dora: *blink blink, burst into laughter*
weien: *desperately trying to redeem himself* i mean, i dont want to look like a male slut or something!
us: (you can predict this.)
during lunch we heard more very entertaining stories from them, but they're too explicit to b posted here, so consult one of them if you're interested, haha.
