i dont know why i even bother going for remedials.

NO ONE takes them seriously, and i spent the time playing pictionary with yz.

the time flew surprisingly quickly, for 2 hours in school. afterwards we waited for tan min because she had some st john's thingy for TWO WHOLE HOURS but after a while of sitting in the clammy canteen after finding out that the library was closed, yz and i were bored to death and so went to jurong point first, leaving the ever loyal zhuqing to wait for tan min.

but in the end it didnt make much of a difference WHERE we were, because we still ended up bored. jurong point proved to b very unentertaining, so we dawdled around till zhuqing and tan min arrived. we spotted qingling and xingying, who looked equally bored.

our movie of choice was xmen which turned out to be....hm....well it had SOME good points, i suppose. the part where the wings sprouted out from whatshisname's back wasnt as dramatic as it could b and the little boy who was the source of the cure looked like a girl. and it turns out the mutants werent suffering from some blue disease after all, and the furry blue guy wasnt in fact wolverine but the tuxedoed president of a company who also pounces around killing people.

and, like tan min said, the old main characters were given too little screen time. mystic was de-mutantized, the professor in the wheelchair exploded sometime mid-movie, cyclops was killed off in the start and rogue didnt do anything at all (and then volunteerily got de-mutantized too),

even with them gone the new characters like the funny spiked person and the wings werent given much attention. the only ppl really seen were wolverine, storm, magneto and the fire-and-ice ppl.

and jean grey was just...weird. all she ever did was stare blankly and vaporize everything. overall the movie wasnt so great. 6 on a scale of 10? well. ta.
