ive always wondered whether snoopy should be pronounced 'snow-py' or 'snoo-py'.
logically it should be 'snoo-py' but doesnt that bear a tremendous resemblance to snoop? what kind of cartoon icon for kids is that?
so it should be 'snow-py' but that sounds like snow pee and it differs from its spelling by quite a large margin.
so to make things easier on themselves and not sound like they're talking about frozen urine or promoting sneakiness, most people pronounce it snoowpy.
cant believe the creator of woodstock came up with a name like this.
