eleventh hour

the good thing about doing your homework at the last minute - yes you heard right - is that you have to write fast.

the panic, the frantic scrawling and constant looking up (to check if the teacher had entered) accurately simulates an exam environment and preps you for the real deal.

and you always wondered why the nerd looks so frazzled during the regurgitation exams (the ones where you swallow the textbook and spit it out on the exam paper) whilst they-who-do-last-minute-work fall into a practiced movement.

yes, there is a silver lining in every cloud.
