all in an afternoon's work

2006-03-28 4:51 p.m.

brats. there're so many in my life now.

ive grown accustomed to seeing a nosy little head poke out of the car when my mom comes comes to pick me up.

first it was megan. then it was david. today, it was eugene.

and the brat-ness didnt end there.

we went to bukit timah plaza and i had lunch whilst walking around, trying to find interesting things to see but there werent any. eugene tagged along the ENTIRE while.

we passed by this funny cafe-studio place where ppl were kick-boxing or whatever in a studio that had glass windows so EVERYONE could see them from outside.

it was really hilarious. there was really loud techno music going on, the lead guy kept going 'ha!' 'hi-yah!' and other stupid things, and seven students attempted to follow him.

the next time i passed by, all i could see were their feet spinning around in the air and a whole group of amused people looking on.

very interesting.

then we met up with my mom, my aunt and david, and eugene decided that he wanted to show us the playground at his condo. so we followed him, first to his house which was filled to the brim with boxes and boxes of biscuits. but eugene wouldnt let us go in because benjamin was at home and apparently that was a problem to him. hm.

so we went on to the recreation place where there was a pool and a playground. we played shark and some thingy called blind mice or whatever, but it didnt go very well because david and eugene kept accusing each other of cheating and i was supposed to solve the disputes, sheesh.

i was so ready to see someone my own age.

and THEN as we were leaving, i spotted tan min! who had FINALLY FINALLY decided to show up, at the wrong time. sheesh.

that is the end of my exasperating afternoon. unfortunately the day is not over yet.
