the only highlight of national day is the national day parade.
aside from that today could have been a saturday for all the difference it made in my day.
we kick-started the day by gg to ikea to look for cupboards and tables. then we went home, had lunch and went to hl's house where a whole bunch of ppl were gathered.
bouncy was really cute and true to her name, bouncing around. hl was her usual hl self, whilst wimpy hit it off really well with xiao xiao. *hint hint*. then the parade started and we observed the parachuters both from the tv and from their windows, where we could JUST see a few specks of flying people.
we left at 6.30 because i was going to xenbar (after changing my mind 4 times) and met dionne at the mrt station. unfortunately there was just the 2 of us because tan min the spoilsport refused to go and yz was, um, 'sick'.
even more unfortunately, i didnt (and will not for a long time) get to see who the great dixon is because he's leaving for usa today. what a freak coincidence.
dionne's disappointment hung thickly in the air, haha.
i got picked on during basic, for the TINIEST little details that i didnt even know existed, pah. then because yanqing was teaching the same hip hop routine upstairs during the break dionne and i decided to intrude and joined them.
it was quite funny, really. the class was made up of 2 adult guys and one 5-year-old little girl, which made the whole class look sooo mismatched.
then intermediate started and to our surprise and horror it was something different, the medullah or berjatra or something?
well it turned out to be rather fun after all, if just a little icky. i was relieved not be the only one (again!) who wasnt a complete pro.
in fact just about everyone didnt know what they were doing, or that something like that even existed in the first place. it was very consoling, to have person after person tell me "i dont know how to do this."
after class dionne hitched a ride to clementi station, where she received a funny phone call from yz.
thus ends spore's birthday.
