the quickest way to lose respect for your teacher would b to see him standing in front of the mrt asking for donations in exchange for a tiny little sticker.
which was exactly how me, yz and junhui found the stone just now.
we laughed ourselves silly and called dionne to come and see.
everyone needs a good laugh now and then, even if it is at the expense of someone else.
before that was a complete waste of a school day. the drama thing i had to do with the rest of eldds turned out pretty weak and in the end, because we didnt leave the stage when we were supposed to, we were forced to stay and sing national day songs in front of the whole school. sheesh.
the performances by other ppl werent so great, either. overall, it was a complete waste of time.
after that me, junhui and yz went to boon lay with dionne because we were going to watch click at jurong point. along the way we found millions of nus students asking for donations.
the first time we saw a bluey dionne and yz donated because the person was from nus, the same school someone named dickson whom they find really funny comes from. they were also hoping to see softy, who ALSO comes from nus, apparently.
instead we saw the stone, which was even funnier.
doesnt ANYBODY go to universities overseas anymore? even joy is going to nus.
anyway, outside of the digression, click turned out to be quite good, though not as funny as expected. yz and i snuck in our kfc lunches (the ONLY thing we eat, either going to the zoo, bird park, night safari, science center or watching a movie) and stole nachos from junhui.
after that we went to toys 'r' us, where i tried to find a jack in the box but couldnt. we did however see a stuffed duck identical to that unlucky one in click.
then we went to this jewellery booth which specialized in selling ridiculously expensive porcelain rose pendants. we stayed there for a really long period of time before finally leaving.
on the way home we each spotted more nus people at our respective mrt stations, from bukit batok to yew tee to woodlands. what an awesome way to terrorize stingy singaporeans.
now for the gossip of the day. dionne and yuzhu have a HUUUMUNGOUS crush on dickson!
