days of our lives

2006-03-11 9:53 p.m.

today was VERY eventful.

but i shall talk about YESTERDAY instead.

because i havent blogged about it yet, ha.

well well. we watched charlie chaplin for english but it wasnt really very funny. it was kind of like mr bean, all about this person who was so stupid it was supposedly funny. but it was just a little TOO stupid.

then we had pe, recess, blah blah blah. and then the ipp thing. it was really hot and stuffy in the classroom and we had to sit it in for an HOUR. fresh air never felt that good to me after that miserable 60 minutes spent in the smelly classroom playing card games.

and then the debrief. it was more the comments of one person than a debrief, but hey we received free water bottles.

but of course the school had a hidden motive in giving those bottles. it was compensation for taking our lunch period away, and to further reduce our irritation at them they had the banana go up on stage and hold this brainwashing session about the goodness of water. she chanted 'water is good! water nourishes you. it is a supplement for your diet. drink it all and ask for more! wait dont ask for more, we can only give you a bottle each.' that last sentence sort of ruined the effect of the intended hypnosis.

well then after the 'debrief' we went back to class and acted as living breathing walking talking chess pieces to the form teacher again as she had fun moving and shifting us about from seat to seat, trying to find the least pleasant position for each of us. the modern teacher's sneaky new way of torture.

after school tan min zhuqing jun hui and i went to westmall. on the way we spotted a pair of rumored lovebirds walking together, who separated so suddenly at the sight of us it was funny. and they dont expect more rumors to arise.

well we had lunch at kfc, then lingered around westmall for a few hours. we also dropped by the library. most of the time spent in the library was in the children's section, thanks to that stupid book list we were given that listed lots of childrens' books.

that's friday. i shall now cut to the chase and go on to saturday.

to begin with, my cca group helped film one scene for the sequel of my sassy neighbour. ONE scene. only 3 ppl had actual lines, and the whole scene lasted a total of, oh, say 2 minutes.

they took THREE HOURS to film it. perfectionists, these people.

they decided to honor some of us normal, no-lines ppl by giving us ONE WORD to say. 'here'. i should have just skipped the whole thing.

well after that i met up with yz and went to bugis to buy sweatpants. she displayed her extraordinary amount of snobbishness in the mall, causing a lot of eye-rolling from me and some surrounding people, but hey, i got the pants.

then we hurried as fast as it was possible to hurry whilst window shopping. but after a stupid detour thanks to her lack of a sense of direction, we were still late.

today's dance was very very chicken-like, but we survived. after that i went browsing around chinatown with dionne and tan min.

we went to OG, dionne went gaga over the shoes and i saw this REALLY REALLY REALLY nice belt. unfortunately it cost a sum of $25 which i didnt have with me, ugh. now i have to wait till 2 weeks later to get it.

tan min seemed to own a lot of things from the sports section. we'd walk in and she'd go 'oh that's my shirt.' 'oh i have that.' and even the pants she were wearing looked suspiciously like some of the ones on the rack. strange.

well even though i didnt buy the belt i still didnt have enough money to get the garnier light thing i wanted, sheesh.

which just happens to b dionne's class motto.

sheesh, that is.

what a weird motto to have.

a motto should motivate you, hence the name. i wonder how sheesh accomplishes that.

tomorrow promises to b almost as eventful, though im sure in a negative way, thanks to that stupid blissmap race thing SOMEONE signed my class up for chaperoning.
