wu niang

you can tell a lot about a person just by watching them eat an ice popsicle.

those who chomp down on it straight and finish it off in 2 seconds obviously, have very strong teeth.

and those who slowly lick it to a soft and drippy mess before eating it obviously, dont.

what more do u need to know?

anyway, on a more random note (as if the first point wasnt random enough already) i have finally figured out (a least a segment of) bubble's heritage!

after decades of wondering exactly what breed she is and coming to answers no more definite than 'eh, a bit of everything lor, including cat' i finally know something for sure!

she is definitely part chihuahua.

but then again it could go the other way too.

unidentifiable little white thing.

then there is this, yet another piece of contradicting evidence.

so, still no definitive answer.

that is, if we ignore the possibility that extra-terrestrial life exists.

which is, i would say, a premature assumption.

who's to say ET never reproduced?

if he could fly over the moon (like the cow who made the dog laugh and the dish run away with the spoon) i would think multiplication would be a walk in the park.

which is, once again, completely and utterly random.

you'd get used to it.

soonish.

now on to my next point, for no rhyme or reason (like that stupid aforementioned hey diddle diddle nursery rhyme. why call it a rhyme if it doesnt?)

Wu Niang + Chun Chun Yu Dong + Mr.Q (Medley) - Jolin

this rather irritating, shrill song has become the base of much laughter.

thanks to dionne who went and analyzed the accompanying dance which is as silly looking and laugh-inspiring as its song.

at first i, like yanqing and numerous others no doubt, was inclined to roll my eyes and go 'diao'.

(though for the record never in my life has such a silly word escaped my lips.)

but then i decided to learn it for fun's sake, and unfortunately became hooked.

it was quite an addictive, if stupid looking, choreography.

and soon brenda got hooked too and it became like, the thing-we-do-whenever-we-see-each-other-with-much-insane-laughter-after.

but unfortunately the only lyrics we knew of the entirely cheena song were '旋转,跳跃, which brenda later translated to 'turn here, turn there'.

just shows what happens when a bunch of bored people get together.

do enjoy (or not).

taa!
