ha i just inspired a little boy to create a blog entitled mybrothersanidiot.

anyway today was the worst case of monday blues anyone could have been hit with. the looming chinese test overshadowed everything before it, and after MUCH studying i receive a little...kickstarter from somebody and realized that all the studying had gone to moot. sheesh.

so because i needed to de-stress i FINALLY replied dora's letter. in fact i more than replied it, i wrote 2-and-a-half pages, and on A4 size paper, not those small pathetic A6 and above stationary she was using.

since today was just another blah school day i shall elaborate on yesterday, which was everything but blah.

first we went to presbyterian high which is unfairly huge and luxurious and MUCH better looking than my school building which is painted a mismatched school-uniform blue and white. the service was....hm. the only blah thing in the whole day. the shaoer ppl were spared from it because apparently slime and co had organized some easter egg hunt for them. dumb as that sounds it HAD to b more entertaining.

when we finally rejoined them we found some of their members in...disheveled states, draped in toilet paper and who-knows-what.

but we didnt have time to snicker because we apparently had to help distribute lunch or whatever. ONCE AGAIN the shaoer ppl were spared from this, because APPARENTLY they were needed upstairs! i sense a conspiracy here.

well well. in the end, somehow, me dora peishan weien weiling and shiying was in charge of giving out the red easter eggs. though 'give out' isnt really the word here. we just sat there and let ppl take the eggs themselves, occasionally handing some out. which was dumb enough alrdy but they still wanted us to go around with the eggs and give them to whoever didnt have them. what are we, easter bunnies?

sooo when everything was done and over with, thank goodness, i went to dhoby gaut to meet samantha. we walked around plaza sing for some time because it was still too early to go to her church, and one of her church friends appeared almost literally with every step we took. the whole of the restaurant's whose name ive forgotten was filled with her friends. quite amazing, really.

then we went to her church. i was sort of expecting a building, but it was just one level in a plaza. oh well it was big enough, though it certainly didnt look so, being LITERALLY crammed full of people.

anyway their praise session was...interesting. they went to an extreme with the rock music, with smoke effects and flashing lights and everything. the atmosphere was quite infectious, enough for the ppl who crammed the large space to b jumping up and down and screaming their lungs out. very interesting.

though the sermon wasnt the greatest ive ever heard it wasnt exactly boring either. better than most, actually.

argh more tests tomorrow.
