woohoo

2009-11-25 9:01 p.m.

this entry is long delayed.

its finally almost the end of A levels!

which is such a mouthful, but us poor overworked people have already started celebrating like its the real thing.

after all we have TEN days to prepare for one mcq paper.

(but then again i suppose the a level examiners did make the point that 4 choices can seem like a lot - especially when you dont know what the hell the question is talking about - with that insane chem paper.)

but whatever, it came to my realization that studying doesnt help a whole of a lot this round of exams.

which i am half thankful for, because i know i definitely didnt study as hard as some people did.

(doesnt help to be from a mugger school in such circumstances.)

so if it had been a case of he-who-memorized-the-most-wins i would definitely have lost.

as it is...i really dont know how i did in the papers.

because 1) i have already forgotten 2) i didnt have strong feelings about any particular paper (with the exception of GP, with which i unwisely decided to argue the point of fashion models not being too skinny so if i get some bitter old plump examiner who has resigned to being fat and feels a BMI of 25 and above is healthy i will probably die.)

which was why i put ??? for all the ridiculous survey questions my school stupidly decided to issue at the last paper of each subject.

come on, you expect to get positive feedback from students freshly betrayed and stinging from the fact that you didnt tell them horrid stuff like that would come out?

its like an outlet for all the $%*!@%#! to pour out.

that aside, i finally watched twilight on sunday night.

2 decades behind everyone else, and only because it was showing for free on star movies.

i was completely, utterly, in every aspect, NOT IMPRESSED.

robert pattinson looked UGLY as did the rest of the vampires and it was very sad that i thought the hottest vampire was the bad guy.

they all looked like zombies instead, with that very artificial looking extreme paleness.

i mean you can only deny the stereotypical vampire look this much without completely losing the concept altogether.

no blood, fine. no fangs, pushing it. all that lipstick? weird. SPARKLING IN THE SUN? waaaaay overboard.

i really really reallyyyyy could not see what all the buzz with robert pattinson was about, try as i might.

and i DID try.

i turned my head left and right and squinted with my eyes almost shut in an attempt to associate 'gorgeous' with 'robert pattinson'.

but hmmm that was one linkage i just could not make.

i think i just offended thousands of girls.

killing me would not do any good, now.

well i shall get on with my post-A levels stuff now (which includes GETTING BACK TO DANCING!!) so taaa.
