and has discovered a new affinity for being 'zi lian'! (conceited; vain; airheaded, for chinese-deficient ppl like dora). today she showed off a zi lian picture of herself, seemingly gawping at the camera and looking confused with her enlarged eyes.
apparently, the criteria for taking a zi lian picture is to have (or at least APPEAR to have) big eyes, a small nose and 'cutely' tilted head.
[i can remember someone by the nickname of po who did that.
it is gross enough when girls do that. it is unimaginably MORE gross when po does it.
the color that immediately comes to mind is purple.]
anyway, thanks to a tip on dionne's blog i have discovered that amando's phone is full of such pictures and will one day salvage it to see.
fyi the name amando comes from the mixture of amanda and weirdo, which suits perfectly if you ask me.
