bop to the top

i should be studying.

but im not so here i am!

today i shall talk about an ancient, yet modern, roaring tradition which involves wearing furry pants.

yes indeed, way before they became fashionable they were already being worn by people who now have white hair!

bet you never thought your grandparents could be trendsetters.

back to the tradition. it is the ageless, the majestic, the noisy lion dance! (otherwise known as dong chiang or other weird sounds.)

today's main discussion will be centered around the dancers; that is, the ones pretending to b the legs of the multi-colored-gigantic-headed-fluffy-tailed lion, not the ones who run around wearing huge plastic heads pretending to b who-knows-what.

the big question on everyone's minds: is it better to b the head, or the butt?

this requires much deep analysis.

the natural assumption is that the head has a better time because at least you get to peek out from under that hot stuffy lion skin once in a while, and can also have the pleasure of making your buddy at the back suffer by supporting you. but then again, if a mosquito starts buzzing in your face and lands on your nose, you will be able to do nothing but go cross-eyed watching it suck your blood.

on the other hand, many ppl are biased against being the one at the back because you have to hunch over the entire time enjoying the scenic view of your partner's backside, and yet represent nothing more than a fake lion's ass, but really, there are advantages to it.

ok i cant think of any but im sure there are.

so the conclusion is:

its best to b neither.
