god, what a hypocrite.

the dance today was...interesting. and dance life was soon b getting much more than interesting.

ive just met a hurdle. an unsophisticated, hypocritical hurdle that is too small-minded to understand and appreciate dance and treats it as some 'sleazy, indecent sport'. what a lot you have to learn, miss hurdle.

however, hurdles are there to b kicked away, so i shall do just such.

before that, though, i heard a mind-boggling bit of info from the hurdle. it stated that all professional dancers MUST have a background in ballet, and that ballet is the root of all dance.

who here agrees with that, go jump off a high building.

its the stupidest nonsense ive ever heard off. sure, ballet gets you flexible and graceful, but it is not a necessity. a good plus if you must, but not the make-or-break factor.

that is just another one of the numerous things that hurdle has to learn.

aside from the frizzy-haired hurdle, today was relatively interesting. first the sentosa trip, which wasnt really that fun (simply proving that parents DO take the fun out of everything, even something as wonderful as sentosa) and then going to the dance class, and then the carnival thing at jurong east.

yz and i saw it from the mrt station and decided to check it out, since it had some relatively fun-looking rides. but sadly we only had $2 between us and couldnt go on any of them.

tomorrow's sunday. bleh. more chipmunky-ness and boringness. sheez.
