i broke my own record and spun 18 times consecutively! yea.
though i probably wasnt doing it right, come to think of it. oh well.
anyway when jh and i arrived at xenbar today there were a couple of things going on. the st johnses were at the attic room figuring out their mass dance, bleach and nancy were taking photos and the ballroom person was teaching a private class, so we couldnt decide what to do; watch the private class, roll our eyes at the st johnses or laugh at bleach and nancy.
in the end, we chose to roll our eyes at the st johnses but after it got old we went out and multi-tasked, watching the private class and laughing at bleach and nancy simultaneously. but we soon felt extra and went back to join the st johnses, which also kinda made us feel extra so we played scissors paper stone. what lengths ppl go to to entertain themselves.
in the end we were late for class, sheesh.
which was kinda weird today.
after that dionne gave a very AMUSING (read stupid but funny) demonstration of what their st johns mass dance would look like. if nothing else, it would definitely crack its audience up.
well blahblah basic was basic and nothing interesting happened. during the break dionne, spin junkie as she is, wanted to do spins so once again we did that and i managed to break my own personal record, yea for me. the dizziness after that was hellish though.
intermediate was slightly harder and took a while to get because it was radar stuff, but one good thing came out of it; after the class dionne and i got a crash course in radar! by scratching person and friend. though i doubt a 15 minute lesson can b considered a crash course. tan min left early so she couldnt join us, the spoilsport.
above all an above average adventure.
