words of consolation

the first week of school has officially come to an end.
yea yea yea.
it was overall tolerable, i suppose. the new sec 4s, yours truly included, managed to survive under the onslaught of the teachers' alarming words of wisom.
this year all of you are sec 4, you must really do your homework or i am going to come down hard on you!
our syllabus is going to be OVERWHELMING (gee that's so comforting) so you will have to study very very hard!
when i was in sec 4 i did 4 maths papers daily, BOTH A and E maths. i nearly died. but i got an A.
what kind of values are they trying to instill in us? kill yourself but get an A in the process? and it goes on.
this year you will have a LOT to study. some people cram so hard that they *points to head* go kuku!
what an nice way to kickstart the year.
