today was by far the most ANNOYING sunday i have ever had.

to start off, i couldnt find my cell group and had to call dora who called her sister who gave me leehuan's number, then i had to call her and find out that they were at the third floor when they said they were going to the FIFTH floor.

bible study was even more horrible than usual.

then i met dora and received the awesome news that they had carolling AND some rehearsal thing so i had to have lunch with tiffany again. gag.

i fell asleep during the sermon, for the second time in a row.

then after church, because im scrimping i bought the msg-free instant noodles which tasted rather horrible, but i had to eat it anyway to keep the hair on my head from falling off, as wimp so kindly reminded me.

to dora and co, when they boldly slap an 'msg-free' label on a packet of cup noodles THEN IT IS TRULY MSG FREE. sheesh. they're not intentionally trying to lie to you or anything!

afterwards they started exercising their voice boxes so i went to bugis with tiffany. there was a bboy competition going on so we stayed to watch, but it wasnt spectacular or anything. the poor host kept trying to liven up the dead atmosphere, but we, being singaporeans, refused to make noise, haha. he went on and on about how the dancers needed to get their VIBE from the crowd and get psyched, then attempted a couple of 'are you ready singapore!' noice-inducing chants, to absolutely no avail. you had to feel sorry for him.

but seriously you cant expect ppl who go to bugis junction on a boring sunday afternoon to b in the mood to scream and shout, can you.

after two 2-people teams had had their turn something went wrong with their sound system and that overworked host had to entertain the crowd whilst it was being fixed. driven to the end of his tether he brought out some free t-shirts, a smart move, because only freebies can get singaporeans moving.

as it was he managed to keep a slightly upbeat atmosphere for some time by throwing t-shirts around and getting some crazy whackos in the crowd to go on stage and act like they're cool, before the novelty of the cheapo shirts wore off and everyone died down again.

at that point tiffany and i decided it was time to leave, and so did many others in the crowd.

soo we got back to church, listened to the ending notes of the carolling and then went for ANOTHER lunch with the choir rats.

dora and i were supposed to go to orchard to meet her weird friend but in the end didnt because she was LAZY, sheesh.

ugh, she deserves to b throttled.
