writing entries in pique or depression rarely is a good idea.
but i am soooo angry right now so!
here is a fuming, steaming, red-hot burning entry!

well future me who is reading this and wondering what all the hooha is about, this is the moment we realized (for probably the hundredth time) that we make very poor subordinates!
we, with the hidden spine-of-unbending-steel and nose-stuck-in-the-air DO NOT take well to being given orders unless said spine and nose are agreeable with said orders.
so when a measly minion who is stupider than i and slower-thinking than i and much, much smellier than i ever will be tries to give orders we FLARE UP LIKE NOBODY'S BUSINESS AND START THINKING VIOLENT THOUGHTS.
on hindsight, perhaps we might be overreacting a little.
just a little.
for objectivity's sake, future me, let me paste that sentence that caused this big uproar here for an objective review.
'Let me know if there are any missing properties. Please complete this by Tuesday.'
COMPLETE THIS BY TUESDAY.

WHO ARE YOU TO ORDER ME TO COMPLETE IT BY TUESDAY, STINKY? YOU SHOULD BE VERY NICELY REQUESTING THAT I COMPLETE IT AT ANY TIME I WISH WITH TUESDAY AS A GENERIC GUIDELINE.

what's more stinky set us a LOT of work with clearly no qualms about the fact that we have urgent things to do, like pass typing maniac level 31 to beat pamela's score!
we are SO CLOSE! level 29!
in pique (again probably was not a good idea), we responded like this:
'There are 113 properties in total in the folder. Assuming each entry takes only 10 minutes to do thoroughly (copying and pasting information section by section, printscreening the photos and maps and sizing it into the table, and checking every piece of information against the listing), to finish 113 properties would take 1,130 minutes which is 18 hours and 50 minutes. With this in mind I think it is quite unlikely that I will be able to complete all this by the coming Tuesday. Perhaps a more plausible deadline would be end of Thursday the 23rd of May.'
all things considered the reply came out pretty neutral already.
but hopefully future me you've somewhat controlled the hopping anger that pops out whenever we're given stupid orders like this!
