sports day

to remove all those irritating tags on my tagboard, i shall answer all queries here.

yong yue: are you implying that you were framed? that someone dirtied my papers, put them back on my table and stuck your paper there just so i would suspect you?

passerby: since passerby is anonymous, there's no one to stand up for him/her and say that he/she wasnt supporting me, is there now? see this is what happens if you dont use your own name.

today was sports day. it was the same old, same old, and i spent most of the time playing uno with jolin and dionne anyway, so nothing much to say about it.

our game lasted forever because jolin's strange barbie deck contained this funny card called 'trade hands' enabling players to trade cards with anyone, so those who uno-ed usually found themselves giving up their card to someone else and receiving a whole handful of cards in return.

just makes you hate barbie, doesnt it.

still, we decided not to engage in 'anti-social activities' as b lim termed it after a while, and actually paid a little attention to what was going on around us.

at one point a class started chanting some song that seemed to consist of a lot of 'yo yo yo'. it made about as much sense to me as my maths tutor when explaining trigonometry, till i saw them all facing a mr yeo.

a rather unfortunate name dont you think.

after the whole thing was over everyone seemed to decide it was a good time to start doing patriotic class stuff and gathered on the track to take pictures and run around, so we-who-lost-our-class-shirt-or-have-no-class-spirit decided it was a good time to quickly sneak out.

so ends our last nan hua sports day.

here is a sneak preview of a bestseller that will soon be gracing shelves near you!
