sheesh. pet shopping has never been this difficult.
but a series of unfortunate events just keep following me.
well to begin with, the first bad omen was when i couldnt find zhuqing at westmall despite standing under the same tent.
then, on the bus, some ppl picked a fight with a bus driver for some petty little thing.
after that, we discovered that the pet shop had been converted into some restaurant.
and THEN we got off the bus, walked a long way, only to discover the same bus at a stop much nearer to our destination.
n then tarantula didnt want to buy the hamster, after i got the shopkeeper to take it out for our inspection!
so i had to buy a chew toy for my dog to make up for their time.
and when we left the shop, we started this looong debate about whether or not she should get the hamster, because the shopkeeper offered us a really great deal.
she called her mom TWICE.
in the end, my wonderful debating skills won out and we went back to the shop to get the hamster.
in the end, the cage, water bowl, food, sawdust, and hamster, added up to $50 exact.
when we started fixing the cage, we found out that there was a water bottle included in it.
so in the end we had 2 food bowls.
the darned cage was so ridiculously difficult to fix!
but in the end, after much persistance, our determination won out.
for such a tiny little thing, the hamster was a handful.
when i got home, my dog went mad about the squeaky chew toy, and is even now standing in front of the cupboard where i hid the chew toy in.
what a 'sheesh' day.
