tomorrow is national day.
it commemorates the separation of singapore from malaysia, an occasion which was so sad it made lee kuan yew cry.
we are celebrating his moment of anguish with a parade and lots of cheesy national day songs, hm.
maybe because the poor overworked people and students are in dire need of a holiday, so voila! a sad occasion was transformed into a happy one.
oh well im not complaining.
today we had what was CALLED a half-day in school, but was in fact a three-quarters-day because we were dismissed only 2 hours earlier than our usual time.
the time was passed by interclass games.
405 didnt win anything, many prizes went to the class with the neon pink class tee.
after that dionne yz and i went to jp but it was a bit of a wasted trip because what was supposed to be bought wasnt bought in the end.
bleh. i wonder what everyone else did.
