cats and dogs

hm. such a big fuss about the da vinci code. it'd b really funny if, one day, something in a painting historians have been analysing for centuries turn out to b a coffee stain. and they probably psycho-analysed it to mean the birth of a new nation or something.

weelll. half of the activities i did today consisted of waiting. first, waiting for the briefing on the da vinci code to end. then waiting for the screening of the documentary to end. then waiting for the service to end. then waiting for the weird singing rehearsal thingy to end. then waiting for everyone to decide what, where and how they were gg to have lunch. then waiting for them to finish eating. then waiting for the bus. then waiting to reach my destination. then waiting for tan min and jun hui to end their tuition. then waiting for jun hui's mom to give us a lift. then waiting for my grandfather at bukit timah plaza. then waiting for joy. and THEN repeating the 2 'waitings' that involve buses, and finally getting home.

sheesh.

but in between all this waiting interesting stuff DID happen.

we discovered weiling's weird, er, hobby. and her grandmother's strange way of getting a second opinion on something. and why weien turned out the way he is. basically, we learnt of the funny way the chan household is run.

at hotspot we spotted (what a tongue twister) the same calico cat, but looking a little better-fed, slithering around the table legs looking for leftovers again. once more it refused to be carried but DID accept some strange brown tofu thing i nabbed from shiying's bowl. whoever knew cats ate tofu?

after that we played truth or dare in which the abovementioned facts were uncovered. it was soooo outrageous that we were laughing hysterically the whole time, and to think all the chans could keep straight faces whilst saying that. they would make great comedians someday.

then i went back to church with shiying and shijia, where they made fun of caleb and of shiying's weird classmate with a squeaky voice. then because i thought i would take one hour to reach beauty world i left at 2.

apparently, i was wrong.

i reached there at TWO FORTY. 50 minutes too early! so i wandered around, looking at the department stores and bead shops, and even after loitering for SO long junhui and tanmin werent finished with their tuition.

well FINALLY they were done so we went to another bead shop because junhui wanted to buy some sort of string. after a long time of trying to understand each other they finally decided that the shop didnt stock that particular sort of string.

tanmin and i hitched a ride to bukit timah plaza and went to king albert park. on the way we saw a dog wearing a pink ribbon/collar, walking by itself down the pathway. it was most probably lost because nobody was behind it but it kept looking back, so i wanted to do something about it but on second thought there was nothing i could do about it. there was no visible tag on its collar and it was quite big so i dont spose i could have caught it anyway.

the rest of today is boring, so i shant go into detail. tomorrow's a holiday, yeaaaa. but my agenda consists of studying, studying and more studying. how very exciting.
