i actually wrote a long long entry some time ago.

but as long long entries go it disappeared somehow before i was able to post it.

so here is what i wrote in a capsule.

last sat me and dionne went to XEN
again to work on our choreo and torture our bodies into shapes its not supposed to go in.

she had invented some canon/koda thing (if you dont play the piano you probably have no idea what im talking about) which was actually rather fun to do, provided both of us REMEMBERED our steps (which, more often than not, was not the case).

if you still have no idea what canon/koda thing im talking about, think canon in d.

still lost? tsk, tsk.

its this thing where one person starts dancing the same choreo slightly earlier than the other (for us its 4 beats) so you see the same choreo done at different times.

canon in D! (for Dionne and Dawn). get it GET IT?!

if you still havent got it, go and bang your head against the wall.

we actually thought the new choreo was progressing quite well, especially the canon/koda thing, until yanqing saw it and announced that she liked the other one better.

oh the devastation.

that dionne felt.

i didnt really feel much because i, er, hadnt contributed MUCH to the new choreo. but i HAD kinda liked it, in my defense.

so now the new choreo has been buried and mourned over, and we shall begin digging the old one out of its grave.

later we somehow or rather found ourselves attending HIP HOP CLASS which was rather interesting because yanqing actually taught our now-dead-and-buried-choreo and some fun/funny reggae routine which involved oh-so-much isolation and SHAKINGGG.

too bad i was too breathless to laugh.

after that we stayed for basic (or rather we stayed to WATCH basic) and, with our keen powers of observation, noted a STRANGE PHENOMENON.

but i shant go into detail i shall keep you in suspense, ha.

so anyway! on to recent happenings.

which is basically, none.

i go to school. i come home. i go to school again.

oooh, what an exciting life.

with an exception to today.

after school i made a mad dash to chinatown for absolutely NOTHING xen-related, for a change.

all those ppl who warned me about the humungous crowds there, go and bang your head against the wall too.

i was in and out in 2 seconds flat.

the reason for my insane rushing? that pretty top i saw hanging on a mannequin last saturday which i realized - after buying it - is actually just a large silk scarf.

so i shall be abandoning my too-large, $40+ dollar new year clothes for a $9.80 silk scarf.

hey its not my fault, i cant exactly get it altered now with all the tailors on holiday.

on a brighter note cny celebrations are TOMORROW!

shall be hitting the beach with sister, dog and inflatable turtle.

taaa.
