all in a day's work

yesterday morning we had an interesting occurence with a little worm that moved really cutely.
unlike other disgusting worms like millipedes who move around on their never-stopping legs, this worm only had legs on its front and back parts.
it moved by arching its whole body except for the parts with legs off the ground, and touching the two parts with legs together, sort of making a sign like that.

hm.
well anyway, today was fairly normal, like any other typical day is. in the morning, i get shaken awake by my mom telling me its already 7 (which is hideosly late but has happened so many times i am now immune to it) drag myself through the morning rituals, sleep in the car and tumble out half awake, then walk up that long walkway feeling dead, and, in today's case, force myself up EIGHT FLIGHTS OF STAIRS to realize that the classroom is still locked and everyone is standing outside.
well when the classroom was finally unlocked we all went in, the first lesson started, blahblahblah till recess. then me, tan min, zhuqing, yz and occasionally junhui go down to the canteen, stand arnd till dionne arrives, then go to the toilet and then the SAC and practice salsa or hip hop till the bell rings, then slowly walk up, occasionally racing and trying to smack our hands on the pillar separating our classrooms first.
today we almost bumped into someone again. ian stepped out of the classroom just when dionne and i were charging past it, and had this look of shock on his face. i spose it must b pretty scary to calmly walk out of the classroom, minding your own business, then turn around and face two ppl rushing at you at full throttle. (which is quite fast for both of us, even if i do say so myself)
then we'd have lessons till lunchtime before repeating the whole ritual again.
what can i say? its better than the old one, where we would walk out to the fitness area and hang around (literally) the bars the whole recess.
the only thing different about today was that, after school, i went to the science centre with emme and we went back to the SHADOWCATCHER which was still uberfun. i cant believe so little has changed since the last time i went there with yz, LAST YEAR.
yeaa hip hop tomorrow. i cant believe im becoming like dionne, looking forward to saturday like that.
