well today was a fairly interesting day.
to begin with, we had the LAST paper of the first semester common tests, thank goodness. the book-moving finally stops.
then blahblah till the end at school, which was 12 today.
i went to lot 1 with yz to watch a movie. spoilsports zhuqing tanmin and dionne didnt go with us.
well anyway we got there and spent some time debating over what movie to watch. i wanted to see rumor has it but she wanted i not stupid 2 or 49 days.
in the end we decided on i not stupid 2 because there was a discount for students!!! it was only SIX dollars, how very wonderful.
since we were there quite early we lingered around for a while, peeking into every single shop. then as we were about to go for lunch we saw these 3 black-suited ppl seemingly interrogating a middle-aged woman.
since this is a rather rare sight we stopped to watch. after a while THREE more black suits appeared and all stood around the fancl shop, where one black suit was still talking to the woman.
after a while black suit stopped talking and they all stood and looked around expectantly, as if waiting for someone. but minutes past and noone came. one black suit turned around, saw us, and laughed. we just continued to talk and look. it wasnt illegal to stare at something weird on the streets.
after a while black suit went into the fancl shop and started sort of browsing through some products. he looked soooo out of place there that it was funny.
based on the above facts, we formed the most likely scenario: one fine day, most probably yesterday, black suit discovered that he had run out of facial products. but being someone important he couldnt possibly just pop into a shop and buy something in public, so he got some guards to escort him. the middle-aged woman was an escort in disguise.
well we couldnt stand there all day, so 5 minutes before the movie started we finally moved ourselves, but stopped a guardian to browse. we lost track of time and was late for the movie, in the end.
which turned out to b rather disappointing. it was so depressing, all about ppl throwing their lives away and blah. though it had some funny parts the rest of the movie was so somber it more than made up for it. the first movie was much better.
i should have watched rumor has it, UGH.
ha it seems weird now to b home and not rushing to finish studying some subject or other, like i've been doing for the past week.
