monday purples

first day of school, ugh. its torturous to make students go straight back to school after just returning from camp. but today lessons were a little...strange.
probably because the rest of my classmates were still hyped up. cheering and cheering even more enthusiastically than they had at the actual camp. the teachers thought the camp was tremendously wonderful, enough to keep the students upbeat even after it was over. i so disagree.
i think its because everyone's feeling better after getting back to the luxuries of home, so the memories of camp take on a rosy glow and all its flaws are forgotten. weirdos.
after school me and junhui went to tan min's house, supposedly to do homework. but we walked around bukit timah plaza first, picking out presents and buying food, before going to her house. when we were at the main gate she discovered that she didnt bring her keys, today of all days, so we had to walk back to bukit timah plaza to get keys from her brother.
when we finally got there, i discovered that her house was full of fish tanks. it was a small little aquarium by itself. there werent just the typical regular-sized tanks with goldfishes and guppies swimming around; there were huge tanks with those big, whiskery fishes and fishes with funny stripes and spots and even a bottle-nosed tortoise. not your traditional small little terrapin, oh no.
there were even creepy worms and toads around for the feeding of the fishes. it looked quite savage, really, feeding fishes something alive. though most fishes just downed it in one bite, the tortoise had a little problem being small-mouthed and all, so it had to eat in 3 bites. ugh, imagine being a worm.
well since it was quite late already and we didnt feel like doing homework we watched tv, then played computer games. junhui made some sort of microwaved marshmallows which were really squishy and sticky but turned out to be quick nice in the end. the plate must have been really hard to wash after that.
well that's today. yesterday dora turned up some interesting news concerning seed, from when she dug out enough courage to go ask seed's good friend about him. honestly, the fuss being made over one stupid, small little person is amazing. if seed ever finds out about dora's crazy obsession or the things we resorted to just to accomplish a dumb dare, his ego would swell to the size of the moon.
ugh the march holidays are over so quickly, and i have a ton of homework to catch up on. sheesh.
