roach rebellion

ok im breaking my blog exile for a moment here.
we finally solved the mystery of the 'roach rampage' in our house.
apparently they have formed an alliance with my dogs.
yesterday ginger was caught red-handed pulling a string of white stuff out of her basket, which we discovered to b the fat from the bacon i had eaten and thrown in the dustbin.
she had apparently salvaged it and hid it in her basket for future consumption probably thinking NO ONE would see her.
after polishing off the bits of bacon she even had the CHEEK to turn around and wag her tail at us with an innocent look, probably believing us to be selectively blind and not see her commit the crime, when remnants of bacon were still hanging from her mouth.
who knows what more of her treasures are hidden in that basket?
one can hardly wonder why we have a roach situation.
